Why don’t station hourly and daily quantities (Station screen – Values Tab) always show the sum of the same quantities from the Meters Screen – Values Tab)?
Throughout and hour and a day, values for the station are accumulated from the meters associated with that station. During the hour or day, the hourly and daily accumulations for the meters may be reset if a configuration change is made, but the station hourly and daily accumulations are not reset. Therefore, the station quantities can be larger than the sum of meter quantities – if a configuration change has been made during the clock hour or contract day. This is not a concern for the API 21.1 data retention because API 21.1 data is only stored by meter.
