Connecting to a Reach
Upon opening the Reach Nomad application, you will be presented with this screen. First, the "Connect" button will begin a scan for any nearby Reach devices. Then, the "Settings" button will allow you to change some preferences on how the Reach Nomad application attempts to connect to devices. Finally, an animation will play reminding you of how to use the pullout menu while viewing screen data.
When the connect button is pressed, the Reach Nomad application will search for nearby Reach devices. This time frame can be set within the settings and is 2-3 seconds by default.
Reach Nomad will then show you a list of all nearby devices and their RSSI values. The closer the number is to zero, the better the connection. To connect to a device, simply tap the device in the list, and Reach Nomad will attempt to connect a number of times specified in the settings menu. Upon successful connection, Reach Nomad will ask for a password. Once the password is successfully entered, then Reach Nomad will load a screen.
